ILAnalyze

The accuracy of a complex surface is depending on the machine performance as much as the integrity of the data set based on which the tool path planning takes place. CAD files or transformed files from optic design programs tend to show errors in the submicron range that are noticeable during diamond machining. ILAnalyze is a stand-alone software package to do a dedicated analysis and to investigate on data quality beforehand. Load 3D data files to run mathematical analysis operations such as slope, curvature or waviness calculation. Choose 2D cross sections to better understand your surface and apply smoothing operations to improve corrupted data sets. A leading 3D visualization tool is the backbone of the program to elegantly dive into the surface to be machined.

ILAnalyze | Measurement

The measurement plug-in for ILAnalyze will allow for loading scanned full aperature measurement data sets to introduce them to the analysis functionality of the base software. In addition, you can subtract such data sets form other geometries to enable a full 3D error compensation of free form surfaces. Analyze such newly generated data sets comfortably to ensure the prevention of data errors.

ILAnalyze | Process

The Process plug-in for ILAnalyze turns your IL series ultra-precision machine into a process analysis and optimization tool. Record following errors, motor currents or set point data in a 3D plot during the real cut or upfront during a non-contact air cut. Zoom in to analyze local overshoots or other process irregularities. The 3D plot of such data mapped onto the work piece geometry is a supportive visualization tool and allows easy identification of critical regions.
